Tonight, Knox County Commission in a razor thin 6 in favor, 5 in opposition chose to kick the can down the road on dissolving the regulatory authority of the Knox County Board of Health until the April 2021 Knox County Commission meeting.
Commissioner Terry Hill made the motion and Commissioner Randy Smith joined her in the motion. Hill pledged to vote in April to strip the Board of Health of its regulatory authority.
Joining Hill and Smith were Commissioners Jay, Lundy, Durrett and Beeler. Apparently, there hasn’t been enough of both sides, screaming, threatening and vandalizing one another. Thanks Commissioners!
