Last night, I watched much of the Town of Farragut Board of Mayor and Alderman and for nearly four hours, public comments were read asking for the Board to delay a vote on Biddle Farm until public meetings could be held. BUT, the Board voted for the Town Center anyway.
The meeting went past 1 am today. So there ya go.

Neither apologized for their conduct despite many email comments asking for them to. none of those email comments were read in Public Forum.
This blatant abuse of public trust is mind boggling.
How, in a civilized society, can 5 Public Servant’s so overtly manipulate the facts to determine that the complete change from a Market Square style venue (shops/ restaurants down- residential above) to a 280 unit 60 foot tall apartment complex and separate retail strip mall complex is a “minor change”?
The agreement the Town entered into with the citizens in 2012 required them to come back to us if there was any major change.
They reneged.
Tragic.
The vote was 5-0 Approved.
