The Knox County Commission Work Session Agenda has been sent out for Monday’s meeting and the appointment of former Knox County Solid Waste Director Tom Salter has been replaced by the appointment of Ronnie Nease, the Environmental Health Division Director at the Knox County Health Department.
The first and to my knowledge only public acknowledgment was by #TheMegaBullhornofTruth but the real credit for exposing the horrible selection goes to former Knox County Commissioner Victoria DeFreese (now Ms. Kay) and Knox County Business Entrepreneur Brad Mayes for communicating to Commissioners and the Mayor about Salter’s previous antics as Solid Waste Director.
I however have been inundated with files of court depositions and material that back up everything printed and said about Salter. It may take time, as I suspect there’s other blog material jewels tucked away in them. So for that I am thankful, I guess.
