Although many people believe I live in Farragut, I do not. I have never lived in the Town of Farragut. For a few years, we owned a home in Concord, just outside of Knoxville and Farragut in Knox County. We still own property near the Bluegrass community, neither in Knoxville or Farragut, but in Knox County.
Last year TN State Rep. Jason Zachary after a 45 minute break during voting, flip-flopped on a school voucher bill (he first recorded a NO and then changed to a YES before the vote was announced) that allowed it to pass. At some point, I hope the current investigation at the Capitol will reveal what exactly was said and promised. But I digress.
NOW, Channel 8 reports here that TN State Senator Dr. Richard Briggs has flip flopped on the issue of the Health Board. He killed the Bill that would have changed the Health Board in the legislative last session. On Friday, he sends an email wanting the County Commission to simply eliminate the Health Board.
Where do these flip floppers come from? Besides Farragut!
