Knox County School Board members Daniel Watson and Evetty Satterfield sun-shined a breakfast meeting at Holly’s Gourmet Market in an area east of Farragut aka “Bearden”.
I left myself outta the picture, the tip of my water glass is there, because my coffee was closer.
They had an audience of three, Lance McCord, Lisa Plawchan and myself. The reason for the meeting was to discussion Disparities in Education Outcome Task Force as it begins to transition into something long term for the district.
Satterfield once served on the task force and Watson is now the School Board’s representative on the group. He was informing her of some thoughts for the group and gathering her initial reaction. Nothing is before the board at this tine so it was just a sharing of thoughts session.
