As a former Knox County School Board Member 2000-2004 and Vice Chairman of the Board 2003, I find it interesting when community members provide things for our school community members.
But, when it is an elected official that boast about it on their official social media platforms, a reasonable man would question what the real motive was. Will it show up as a campaign expenditure.
The real issue is that it violates the Knox County School Board Policy, Political Solicitation C-181.
