JJ for Sheriff Officially Kicked Off 2022 Tonight

Former Knox County Sheriff Jimmy JJ Jones officially kicked off his May 3, 2022 Republican Primary campaign. It was held at Chesapeake’s West on Parkside Drive.

During the two to three hour event between 300 and 400 people passed through. Not many politicians, they were all voters.

However, Criminal Court Clerk Mike Hammond, District Attorney General Charme Allen, Property Assessor John Whitehead, Chancellor Clarence Pridemore and candidate for Chancellor Deno Cole, County Commissioner Charles Busler and Justin Biggs were there, including County Commission candidate Christine Cruz Knox County Republican Party Chairman Daniel Herrera stopped in as well.
