At the Knox County School Board tonight in preparation for next Wednesday’s voting board meeting. Board Member Daniel Watson asked about a memo the Knox County Law Department authored about the 2021-2022 reopening guidelines and a vote by the Board on April 14, 2021.
Board Member Mike MacMillian showed no civility to Board Member Jennifer Owen yelling at her and telling her he would tell her what was going to happen. Chair Susan Horn never gaveled MacMillian, a reasonable man would conclude because Horn believed in MacMillian rants and anger.
As a former board member, the board only speaks through it’s votes, what the board said in a vote on April 14 Matters, whether MacMillian wants to acknowledge it or not.
Anyway, Watson asked about releasing the memo, Gary Dupler of the law department said any board member could release it. I emailed all nine board members and got the memo.
