This past Thursday, South Knoxville Alliance and the League of Women Voters sponsored a City Council candidate forum for the First District.
It was originally scheduled for Church Street United Methodist Church. However, due to the rise in the pandemic, the organizers, the Moderator Retired Anchor from WVLT Allan Williams and two of the three candidates David Hayes and Tommy Smith attended. Elizabeth Murphy was unable to attend.
Questions were submitted to the South Knoxville Alliance online. The forum lasted less than 50 minutes and can be viewed here on the South Knoxville Alliance YouTube page
