James Corcoran accompanied with his wife filed his Appointment of Treasurer with the Knox County Election Commission to be a Republican candidate for Knox County Commission Third District in the May 3, 2022 Republican Primary.
Third District Knox County Commissioner Randy Smith is term limited and not eligible to run for re-election.
Corcoran is the Republican State Executive Committeeman in District 7 (Dr. Richard Briggs Senate District) Corcoran is also a member and Chairman of the Knox County Board of Zoning Appeals.
