The Knox County Election Commission have multiple Early Voting locations for every election. In the 14 days of August (August 11-26, 2021) for the five Knoxville City Council Primary Election the top “performing” Early Voting center was New Harvest Park in North East Knoxville.
Downtown West has consistently been the number one utilized Early Voting Center, they were the top voted site on Day One, Five and Six only this month.
The other three centers, the most interesting is to see the number of votes in total over 14 days. New Harvest is still first with 1,711 cast, Downtown West with 1,456 cast, then surprisingly South with 887 votes, the East Knoxville’s Eternal Live Harvest at Five Points with 848 votes and the ole City County Building dead last with 675 votes.
So, 5,577 voters cast Early Votes for the Tuesday August 31 Primary Election. Absentee votes cast early are 758 for a total of 6,335 votes.
