So, a few Knox County School Board Members liked playing bully on the playground and the partisan political game in wanting to be “pro-choice” on masks. Code words used to entice and inflame some of the populace.
Well when the legislative branch is broken down, which causes the Executive branch to break down. Guess who steps in? The checks and balances of our Representative Republic, the Judiciary.
Federal Judge Ronnie Greer said mask up. TN State Representative Jason Zachary mumbled some posting on Twitter about the Judge being a legislator or performing a legislative function.
How grand it would be if Judge Greer called Zachary to his courtroom for Zachary to say that to the Judge. A certain Knoxville lawyer has been found in criminal contempt by Greer, for saying one more word after he was told to be quiet. I am sure Zachary would be an easy one to Moncier. Zachary has Twitter courage and that is about all.
My term on the School Board taught me that a free public education for everyone means everyone. If you don’t wanna protect yourself or others with masking during a pandemic then find yourself and your kids a school that has your beliefs and a private tuition and pay the dollars out. Otherwise play by the rules established.
When you can’t consider the least of these, the chronically ill, immune compromised or other disabilities among us, then are you really human?
