I was elected to the Knox County School Board, Fifth District, having bested the School Board Vice Chairman Tommy Prince, Tom Spangler‘s outside legal counsel Gary Prince‘s brother. I resigned before taking the School Board seat, only because I thought someone else should have the opportunity to serve. As I would be on the Knox County School Board, NOT the Knox County Commission.
