Judge William T “Bill” Ailor‘s Re-election Campaign Kick-off event was a great event with a great turn out on a windy and rainy Thursday night where guest were greeted at the door of Bridgewater Place’s Emory Hall by Judge Ailor and two familiar faces, Casey Mynatt and daughter Tristyn Mynatt.
Enjoying the evening of good food and socializing were some well know Attorneys and represenatives of well known Law Firms. Also, in attaendance was Judge Ailors’s sister Polly Ailor Tullock, brother-in-law Laurens Tullock and nephew Will as well as a slew of great friends like Bob and Kim Thomas, George and Cindy Ewart, Bob and Jackie Spining, Bob and Becky Paylor, Andy and Amy White, Adam White, Jeff Roth, Dr. Walt and Dr. Melissa Chiles, Ron and Jerri Perfetto, Dr. Lea Davis White, Dr. Bill and Sharon Laing, Richard and Bette Bryane, Alan and Becky Williams, Rick and Angela Frost among many others.
Dino Cartwright, a well know personality in Knoxville who worked with Judge Ailor’s wife Sherry when they both worked with WVLT welcomed quest and introduced Sherry who then recognized the Veterns on this 2021 Veteran’s Day. These Verterns were then asked to lead the Pledge. Paster Scott Jackson of New Life Gatering then said a wonderful prayer. Sherry, who shared some fun fact about the Judge and their life, then had the honor of introducing her husband, best friend of 25 years and Knox County’s Circuit Court, Div, II, Judge, Bill Ailor!
Judge Ailor then thanked everyone sincerely for thier support. He shared a few thoughts and words and in closing kindly ask that everyone re-elect him to a second term in 2022!

In the crowd were Sharon Frankenberg and Judd Davis, 2 of the 3 individuals seeking to replace Session Judge Geoff Emery, who is retiring in December. Also, attending were Bud Armstrong and Deno Cole who are campaigning against incumbent Chancellor Eddie Pridemore and Christine Cruz who is challenging Larsen Jay for the Knox County Commision At-Large Seat 10 in 2022. Gina Oster was there as well and she is running for the Knox County Commission seat of Commissioner Randy Smith who is term-limited.
