On Saturday the five Knoxville City Council incumbents who all won re-election back on November 2, were all sworn into and began serving their four year term.

After the swearing in ceremony the newly reconstituted Council met and selected Andrew Roberto to be Vice Mayor, replacing Gwen McKenzie.
Then they selected Janet Testerman to Chair the Beer Board. She replaced Roberto.
They then selected Tommy Smith to be the Council Representative on the Knoxville Transit Authority. Smith replacing Amelia Parker.
