Last night at the Halls Republican Club Chancellor candidate R.Deno Cole, School Board Candidate Sherri Garrett, Trustee candidate Richard Jacobs and County Commission candidate Rhonda Lee all spoke.
After the door prizes (which I won one) I moved to the back of the room. A lady asked if she could ask Justin Biggs opponent a question, she asked about a Facebook post that had been posted about his board position on a group, We are Open. he answered it.
After he answered the question, he immediately came to me and asked if i could speak to one of my minions. I immediately replied back i have no minions, he said yeah okay. He proceeded to complain about a post, from the Republican club that meets at the “fruit cafe”. I told him I didn’t know that the Concord Farragut club had a page. Anyway, apparently he thinks I can tell someone or I can have posts removed.
I guess I am the high Sheriff of Facebook popo. Who knew? i sure wish Zuckerberg would direct deposit my salary.
The people who want to police Facebook posts are hilarious. It seems their ideas are the only ones allowed. Next time, give me a call and hand him the phone. I’ll be called a “minion” long enough to ‘splain free speech.
