Mrs. Bea Waters at the young age of 97 passed away at her home on Tuesday 6/7/2022 peacefully. I met Mrs. Bea many years ago as the Center City Conservatives Republican Club began meeting in 1992 at Waters Market and Grill (Mr. Herb and Mrs. Bea owned and ran it) in the Beaumont Community of Knoxville, TN. Mrs. Bea was the Treasurer of the club from inception of the club until about 8 years ago.
Ms. Bea would always call me and many others in the Knox County Republican Party to stay engaged and informed. Knoxville – Beatrice “Bea” Waters age 97, of Knoxville, passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at her home. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. She was the former owner of Waters Market and Grill. She served as the past Treasurer of D.A.R., Admiral David Farragut, Eastern Star, VFW, Lions Club, and Jr. Order. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert L. Waters, son James Waters, and parents, George and Ellen French. She is survived by her daughter, Sue Waters, son, Herbert L. Waters, Jr., granddaughters, Lara Periut and Judith Staunton, and several great-grandchildren. The family would like to give a special thanks for the love and care given to their mother by Charlynn, Autumn and Dana. A special thanks for the love and support of our neighbor Anne and our friend Marci. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 12, 2022 from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm at Rose Funeral & Cremation Broadway. Friends and family will meet Monday, June 13, 2022 at 10:45 am at Mt.
