The week that Early Voting kicked off, Tennessee Strategies (a company owned by Mike Arms and former Knox County Mayor Mike Ragsdale) hosted an event for all Republican candidates at Calhoun’s on the River. It was well attended with more than 16 Republican candidates with many more voters.
Yesterday, Saturday July 23, 2022 Kim Frazier, Republican candidate for Knox County Commission at Large Seat 11 fielded a team “the Grand Ole Party” in a mud volleyball tournament to benefit the DARE program of the Knox County Sheriff’s Office. State Rep. Justin Lafferty and his daughter, District Attorney General Charme Allen, Republican Knox County Trustee candidate Justin Biggs, Republican General Sessions Judge Chuck Cerny, School Board Member Betsy Henderson, Republican School Board Candidate Will Edwards, Republican Register of Deeds Nick McBride, Knox County Commissioner Larsen Jay, myself with a medical exemption joined Frazier.
