Interesting that Rep. Jason Zachary and Rep. Scott Cepicky are the lead voices of outrage and angst on the nine and half minute recording of the Tennessee State House Republican Caucus made famous by the TN Holler.
Let us take #theMegaBullhornofTruth down Memory Lane here. This is when then Rep. Eddie Mannis not a member of a particular House committee, sent a letter to that Committee opposing a Rep. Cepicky bill on school sports team, the bill was gender identifying. My Capitol Hill sources at the time of incident, told me Cepicky was furious. I wonder if then it risked a fall of the Republic?
I was not a supporter of Eddie Mannis primarily because I knew his personality would not meld well with a few of the Super Majority and that the Super Majority would change its mind on LGBTQ+ issues.
Interesting enough now, I wonder if then in last session, if Cepicky confronted his co-star on the Caucus recording, because Zachary was an early encourager and supporter of Mannis as a candidate.
I asked back last year here if Cepicky had influence with welcoming and honoring by Representatives. That post was funny then and I know that no member or member of Republican leadership has influence with the Speaker.
