On Thursday the Knox County School Board had a Quarterly Work Session. One presentation was the Farragut School Solutions. You can watch the October 26 meeting here. The Farragut presentation by Operations Assistant Superintendent Garfield Adams, here.
There will be three upcoming Town of Farragut public meetings, November 28 at Farragut High November 30 at Farragut Primary and December 5 at Farragut Middle. It was said that all three meetings would begin at 5:30 PM.
While these meetings are all being held FOR Town of Farragut Parents and Citizens, I would encourage all surrounding school parents and citizens to show up and attend as it was presented that all three options will require rezonings. After the presentation, former School Board Chair Kristi Kristy asked Assistant Superintendent for confirmation that all three options require rezoning.
Ask the parents and students at Ball Camp Elementary, Hardin Valley Elementary and maybe Karns Elementary about the rezoning for Mill Creek Elementary. So, Northshore Elementary, Bluegrass Elementary, Lotts Elementary, West Valley Middle, Ball Camp Elementary and maybe even Cedar Bluff Elementary, Middle to be aware.
