Here is my post from Thursday January 4, 2024 and then Friday January 5, 2024 Knox County School Board members were sent through Dr. Jon Rysewyk Update to the board, not the public before Monday’s work session.
“New Farragut School/Solution”
“Dr. Adams is excited to share with everyone our plan for the new Farragut school on Monday evening. To refresh your memory, we brought three potential recommendations last fall which were followed up with three community meetings, a stakeholder survey, and a follow-up survey to gain additional input. After receiving all of this feedback, we are excited to bring you a new plan that was developed in response to the process. As a reminder, there will not be an item on the voting agenda since this was already approved in the current capital plan. Any additional costs moving forward would be brought to the Board in future capital plans or funding requests.”
