This morning Tom Humphrey in the Knoxville News-Sentinel writes about the AFL-CIO and their reaction to Governor Bredesen.
Jim Bass, President of the Knoxville -Oak Ridge Area Central Labor Council is quoted in the story. “I knocked on doors for Bredesen last time. I’ll stay at the house on this one,””I think he’s done the working class people of Tennessee wrong,””He’s gutted worker’s comp. He’s gutted TennCare.”
What I can say about this is Mr. Bass you are correct. Bredesen has gutted TennCare, while promising in 2002 to fix it, he told the citizens of this state that he had the experience to fix it and yet he gutted it.
