The Jury Acquitted Skinner, Guinn and Valentine

This published post from the other day. Again this is not a full time day job for me, so camping out in a courtroom all day isn’t for me by need. The mainstream daily paper housed at the Big Metal Shed on the Hill had two reporters there. If you are wealthy enough to jump the paywall of the Big Metal Shed on the Hill, read a local reporter’s take on the conclusion of the case, here.

The jury chose to acquit Calvin Taylor Skinner, Gavin Guinn and Aaron Valentine. Which means if those three were acquitted, then the other three were illegally arrested as well. The difference is those three plead Guilty for fear of a trial by either monetary cost or outcome. So,  the plea deals and arrest should be erased from the record on Kevin Andrews, Carrie Hopper and Mary Winter.

Who ordered the seven arrested? Knox County Sheriff’s office does not just grab people and cuff them without someone wanting them and requesting them to be arrested.

So that leaves Constance Every as the one arrestee that the Jury did not acquit. But now there is time for the appeal. Knoxville Attorney Andrew Beamer is Every’s legal counsel. So the fight moves on. I would not bet against Beamer and Every! A future Political career as Knox County Mayor by #10 at Large Commissioner may hang in the balance.
