This evening, Local Lore Knoxville was in deep South Knox County in Riverchase. We were looking for the Hodges Ferry and we found it. Originally the Bowman Ferry, became Hodges Ferry. The South Knox County Ferry connected people to the East Knox County community to the Riverdale Community. Check out the Riverdale School here. CORRECTION: In the video I (Brian Hornback) incorrectly identified Gap Creek Elementary School as Pond Gap Elementary School. I must learn to be the videographer and not provide facts especially when the facts are wrong. It was the first error of mine for the day.
