Tonight, the Three Rivers Republican Club met at Marbledale Baptist Church. State Rep. David Wright Republican TN District 19 spoke and asked what the most important issues were of the attendees of tonight’s meeting. Here is the video of the twelve or so minutes.
The club voted on amending the bylaws of the club, the vote to amend the bylaws as presented, 24 in support, 2 in opposition and 2 pass. The process of amending the bylaws was a multi-month process.
The elected officials at the meeting were Knox County Law Director David Buuck, Knox County Chancellor Bud Armstrong, Knox County Commissioners Carson Dailey and Larsen Jay, Rep. Wright, Mandy Branch representing Knox County Criminal Court Clerk Mike Hammond, Bob Griffitts representing State Senator Becky Duncan Massey, Alan Branch representing Knox County Sheriff Tom Spangler, Knox County Republican Party Chairman Buddy Burkhardt and Republican candidate for Property Assessor Phil Ballard and myself the Tennessee Republican Party State Executive Committeeman District Six.
