Thanks to Jenny and Randy Boyd along with their company PetSafe and the Boyd’s gifting dog parks to communities. New Harvest Park in North Knoxville (near Alice Bell, Ritta and Shannondale) today opened a brand new dog park. Second District County Commissioner Courtney Durrett along with at Large County Commissioner Kim Frazier and Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs with his Parks and Recreation Director Joe Mack were on hand with the Boyd’s to cut the ribbon.
New Harvest Park was in Durrett’s commission district from 2020-2022 and she was instrumental in getting the dog park for the communities that use New Harvest Park.
Frazier’s adult son Jackson and the family K9 Ronan were on hand to give Ronan’s stamp of approval. Mr. Alice Bell and North Knox Ronnie Collins is more visible than a blogger. He was present as well, likely to meet Ronan. Former Knox County Commission Madam Chair Durrett’s family K9 Lemon Pupsicle came as well.
