More Knox School Student Arrests Yesterday Thursday September 12

Update Thursday 6:00 pm- 
An 11-year-old, HARDIN VALLEY Middle School female student has been arrested for Threats of Mass Violence. 

Update 4:00 pm –
A 14-year-old SOUTH DOYLE High School male student has been arrested for Attempted Aggravated Arson, setting fire to personal property, and vandalism. 

Update 2:30 pm –
A twelve-year-old GIBBS middle school female student has been arrested for false reports.

The Knox County Sheriff’s Office has responded to five school threats this morning.  There has been one arrest made with more potentially forthcoming.  A twelve-year-old seventh-grade female student from Cedar Bluff Middle was arrested for threats of mass violence. 
Additionally, Knox County Sheriff’s Fire and Explosive investigation unit, along with Juvenile Detectives, are currently at South Doyle High School investigating a trash can that was intentionally set on fire.
