The taxpayers of Lenoir City, TN are on the hook for $45,000 + dollars in legal fees to defend their Municipal Judge Greg Harrison from one of the two opponents he defeated.
The lawsuits have been in local court, TN Court of Appeals and on September 5, 2024 Oral Arguments were heard before the Tennessee Supreme Court.

Pat Hunter asked the Mayor and Council about a traffic study for a new development and for the cost of the Loudon County Annexation suit. Mayor Aikens explained how a Loudon County employee approved the annexation and how the City has tried to work with the County to no avail. Ms. Hunter explained several months ago, the county was in $140,000 + in fees.
