At Halls Republican Club Monday night. Property Assessor employee Rodney Lane announced his candidacy for First Vice Chair of the Knox County Republican Party. In making his announcement, Lane said he was pleased that Kuhlman had asked him to be her running mate.
Sources in the Knox County Republican Party have supplied Shock And Awe with Lane’s voting record. In 2006 he voted in the Democrat primary that selected Harold Ford, Jr to challenge Republican Senator Bob Corker. In 2008, he voted in the Democrat Primary between Hillary Clinton & Barak Obama.
So, Kuhlman’s first decision is to select a Democrat as her running mate? My sources are not surprised that Kuhlman & Lane are being supported by free weekly newsprint publisher Steve Hunley. Because he supported Madeline Rogero for Mayor of Knoxville over a bonafide Republican in Ivan Harmon.
This does not surprise me in the least, let me give you the real reason for this.
A: Phil Ballard lost his polital support when Ms. P up and quit.
B: Jim Weaver can’t win an election for Property Assessor as he doesn’t understand the job he has now.
C: Phil and The Paper Boy have put this do nothing clown Rodney Lane up to running with Ruthie, as Ruthie’s daughter works in the County Play Pen with Phil Ballard.
D. Phil has once again cut a deal as he is so famous for as a political motive game of checkers. You elect Ruthie, she supports Rodney for Vice Chair, Rodney runs for Property Assessor and Phil is appointed as Chief Deputy.
E. Phiil’s wings got clipped from runing as Mayor as there was too much playtime in the Property Assessors office, and the Paper Boy just can’t find any glimmer of truth to support Uncle Phil for Mayor.
These people are latch tit croneys, once you latch on the County Tit its hard to let loose the nipple. My suggestion is make the Breast Feeding room larger and let them play in private instead of right in our faces. Why the heck didn’t Phyllis run for Chair, we need a Lady in this Position, and the Severance name is respected. R or D this town would elect Olive Oil and Popeye if the pot was sweet enough. Gerald Turner get off your collective rear end and put a stop to this your on the Credentials Committee bring it up at the convention or I will. Looks much better coing from the stage than from the audience, and I will not hesitate to call you out. It’s time to make it right, you want to elect republicans do not shut your eyes on this one as this one will bite you in the rear.
