Last night the Knox County Young Republicans met. As part of their business was the selection of officers. Unlike the confusion, pandemonium that broke out at the reorganization of the West Knox Republican Club last week. This reorganization went smoothly. The club selected Knoxville Architect Alex Roehl as the club President.

Ah to be young again.
Ah to be Republican again.
Boys we are in the wilderness.
I think Alex is a fine choice. I know this young man, he is a man of integrity and confidence. I trust he will lead the Young Republican group well, and I would expect their membership and involvement to increase.
To jump on the Shadows bandwagon for a moment, we certainly are in the wilderness.
Well, if anyyhing happpens that’s of any count, party wise, it will be what happens locally.
