At last count there are about 12 area Republican clubs in Knoxville and Knox County. A recent merger of the Fountain City and North Knoxville Republican Clubs has left a void for the folks in East Knoxville. This Thursday, March 14, 2013 a group of folks will convene at Habaneros located at 4707 Asheville Highway in Knoxville’s 37914 to determine any interest and forming of an East Knoxville Republican Club. The start time is 6 p.m. if you plan to eat dinner and/or fellowship with like minded people. The meeting will begin at 6:45 and will dismiss promptly at 7:30 p.m.
