Not a good situation at all. However, a discernment needs to be made did the fire originate in one of the units or was this a brushfire that worked its way up the mountain? Given the steep grades and lack of accessibility to the surrounding areas from the condominium complex, might need some better/bigger space requirements for homes made of logs/treated logs at that.
Hate it for the families invovled and hopefully they are fully insured such that they can rebuild, but there are some serious fire safety issues lurking through this scenario and hopefully they won’t get lost in the Pigeon Forge’s new found cash cow known as liquor by the drink.
