Sources in the Property Assessor’s office reported that Phil Ballard was celebrating yesterday. The call went out that when the Halls Republican Club meets on 11/14 there will be NO debate or questions asked of the property assessor candidates. The candidates will be allowed to speak and if there are questions they can be asked one on one at the end of the meeting of each candidate.
Ballard had even twisted the arm of the mother of one of the property assessors employee to lobby the Halls Republican Club Officers for a no debate, no question format. The employees mother is an employee of another fee office employee.
