The local left leaning liberals are getting stoked over on their own little cyberspace playground about a KPD incident involving a neighborhood disrupter that was inappropriately handled by three KPD officers that were inappropriately handled by 3 KPDB former officers.
They are trying to drag in one of the ten officers into controversy. Because he is a Republican County Commissioner. Two of the four comments at posting time are “not verified” identities. Meaning they are cowardly anonymous no bodies.
I had to laugh when one of the non verified commenters tried to compare the actions of a Supervisory Police Officers during his work hours with Commissioner Jeff “Lets all go to the ridge” Ownby. Ownby’s extra curricular activity was during work hours with his former employer. Should all of his personnel files be made public? Should the public have the right to examine and hear any recordings of Ownby? As has been the situation with the KPD Supervisor.
One verified commenter is local weekly writer of a Friday column in the Big Metal shed on the Hill product criticized or at a minimum promoted her own article in tomorrow’s paper by referring to Jamie Satterfield, long time Court Reporter. Satterfield is one of the most competent reporters at the Shed and her new found criticizer is the one that filed an allegation against Mayor Tim Burchett in Nashville and believed she had found a smoking gun and referred to him derogatorily as “Timmy”. That complaint after being reviewed by the panel in Nashville found that Burchett had corrected the actions of his now ex wife and the writers proof was not worthy of the prosecution she sought.
