June 13, 2013 my “bossman” Steve passed away and entered into his heavenly eternal reward. Steve became my boss in the Spring of 2008 until he took a leave of absence in November. He worked for our company 23 years prior to his death. I have 21 years with the company.
Everyone that ever met Steve says he is a good guy. They were right, except I would say he was an AWESOME guy. Every time we worked together, we would talk about life and in particular raising kids. His are grown and mine are nearly grown. He always provided me calm assurance that it was all gonna work out. He became a mentor and friend in addition to being my boss.
He loved his Savior Jesus Christ, he loved his family, he worked hard with a results mentality for our company and beyond that he was in a boat fishing for bass.
