When the vote for the censure of Commissioner Jeff Ownby was recorded. Chairman Tony Norman voted no, Commissioner Robert Lawrence Smith passed, Commissioner Amy Broyles was a no show due to illness. Ownby was recorded as voting yes to censure himself.
Look for them to adjust the record that Ownby likely abstained from the vote. They will contend thar he abstained from the vote. Although he did not speak to the issue at all, while it was on the table for consideration and then ultimately a vote.
