One of the issues with Black Wednesday 2007 was that the Commission Chairman had the Commission office staff poll the Commissioners by phone and ask when they could or would like to meet to appoint all the positions. Once more than 10 (there were 19 on Commission at the time) agreed on January 31, 2007 it was set. That according to the Judge was a violation of meeting laws.
So, how did Trustee Duncan resign yesterday and the Commission set the appointment procedure without calling a meeting and voting in session and in public on a process?
What will Jack McElroy say? He will probably go along with the current Commission.
