The comments have blown up on the story about the Knox County Criminal Court Clerk and her disagreement with the Assistant District Attorney that she banned from the office. At this point, many of the comments have gone off topic and are too time consuming to moderate. Because of that no more comments will be published. There are three comments that have been rejected and no others will be accepted. I am honored that so many people read our website and use it as it’s go to source.

Brian, I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for posting this article allowing my co-workers to vent their frustrations about this office. Whether or not this is posted isn’t a concern to me. I have been here thru many administrations and seen many come and go, including office holders. The share of the work load isn’t evenly distributed and salaries are just not carefully managed. Ive been here over 20 years and just make a little over $34,000.00. I am not political and not a part of the chosen few, which is why I am passed up for raises, like many of us here. We are all subject now to termination, and the over-all moral of the office is like working at a funeral home. We have lost two great girls who didn’t deserve getting fired, warning or suspension I can understand, but this was uncalled for. I hear the rumors of the election and welcome a change in leadership, and you can bet we can’t be seen working for the opposite side, but we can work behind the scenes and cast votes. Thank you for reading my two cents worth, and again thank you.
