Mayor Burchett Turns Over Redevelopment of Old Knox High to Commission

Knox County Mayor Press Release Pusher (because Mayor Burchett always pledged he would NEVER have a Spokesman) Michael Grider put out a presser about the redevelopment proposal for the Old Knoxville High building now going to the County Commission.

I hope County Commission is paying attention. Because the same company that wants to redevelop the Old Knoxville High is the same entity that had issues in redeveloping the old Fifth Avenue Motel into Minvilla Manor. Check out this 2008 report from WATE. You know WATE, Anchor Geneo’s station.
