Apparently, State Senator Jim Tracy in December had a breakfast to get to know his constituents. He then a few weeks later announces that be will challenge Fourth District U.S. Congressman Scott Desjarlais.
The Former Franklin County GOP Chairman is not buying “the smell test” of that story and is asking questions. That is the great thing about being Former, you can ask all the questions you want. You see as the current Republican Chair, you are bound by the rules and by-laws to stay out of primaries.

In other Fourth District U.S. Congressional news. Tracy has been hoping to get Desjarlais all by himself. (kinda like Briggs in his challenge of Campfield) It looked promising when State Rep.
