The Big Metal Shed on the Hill aka Knoxville News Sentinel reports that Knox County Circuit Judge Dale Workman announced yesterday that will not seek re-election in 2014. Workman first elected to Circuit Court Judge in 1990. Also worked and served as Knox County Law Director from 1983-1990.
Dale was in fact a worker, living up to his name Workman. I am blessed for having known Workman. It hasn’t escaped me that the last time he won election was in 2006. He was unopposed as I recall. However, the Knox County Republican Party Chairman was the reason he had no opponent and was successful. Who was the Chairman in 2006? Oh yeah, it was Brian Hornback.
