Yesterday 10/31/2013 about 5:00 pm my Aunt Hazel passed on to be present with the Father in Heaven. She passed peacefully at home. Aunt Hazel is my Mammaw Blake’s sister. Aunt Hazel was 95 years old. She like Mammaw and her family were hard workers, independent, positive and happy folks. Family was/is EVERYTHING.
Mammaw passed away in the Spring of 2009 and now the sisters that enjoyed traveling around East Knox County and eating at several different of their regular spots are joined together again.
While there is grief for those left behind here on earth for her absence from our lives is present. The fact that at age 95, she finished the race strong and is now joined with those that went before her, we rejoice until we are reunited together in Heaven one day.
