Two years ago, a group of citizens and this blog discussed the Rogero rain tax. On November 8, 2011 I was at Sequoyah School precinct with then candidate for Mayor Madeline Rogero and her son. As we talked to voters, I explained the “rain tax” and after I had my say, Rogero informed the voters (2 a man and woman) that she would not propose a “rain tax”.
Was she sincere? If you search “rain tax” on the old platform, like here, you will see lots of information and several you tube videos. Interestingly, in the past two years, two of the videos no longer exist. SHOCKING!

Rain Tax good lord, whats next a Turd Tax and how the heck are we going to calculate that one? Whats Ballard gonna do, have the “No Clue” Lane measure the rim around the bowl? This town has lost it’s mind, and the ones responsible just sit back and pad the pocketbook with the salary they do not earn. This is just a large Hazzard County run by Boss and Lulu, where is uncle Jessie when you need him. Any changes on the ballot is written where yes means no and no mean yes, what happened to just good old common sense. Our golden turds talk out of both sides of their mouths, and the sad thing is they say it so much they believe it too. We have a few great ones that are elected and there is nothing corrupt ever in their offices. Then you have the Paper Boys chosen few. Have you ever noticed that anyone the Paper Boy supports ends up with his pants down literally and getting paddled with every mistake they make. When the good people in this town finally take a stand to once and for all throw out the Paper Boys cronies and put qualified leaders in these positions this town will thrive and become a better place to call home. Whats it going to take to bring this to light? I have a thought….. Put all the corrupt Paper Boy cronies on a few bill boards and put a anti H on their face. Its better than Hester Prinn and the Scarlet Letter. Thats my thoughts for the day. Rain Tax, Turd Tax and the anti H reform. Three P’s in a pod.
