Last Saturday, I posted this opinion that Georgiana Vines column about Jim McClain was a ploy to limit candidates from opposing incumbent Pam Trainor. Apparently, he only stirred up two legitimate candidates in Halls Elementary School Librarian and South Knox Resident Amber Rountree and Former South Knox County Commissioner Larry Clark.
Apparently, Mike ‘da career killa’ Donila from his Screams From the Porch heard rumblings about the McClain ruse as well. He posted this yesterday.
Today, Georgiana reports that McClain says he did it to stir people up and now he will manage Trainor’s campaign. Note to Trainor: find you a campaign manager that doesn’t draw you two serious opponents. McClain has created a mess that will not be easy for you to overcome.
On a final note, apparently Ms. Vines doesn’t read the spread sheet from the election commission as throughly as everyone else. She wrote about the candidates that have picked up petitions for School Board in the Seventh District and she left out Halls Realtor Zachary Wishart. I am sure it was difficult to find, Wishart was the second of four people to pick up for that seat.
