Yesterday Weston Wamp made the rounds through Tennessee’s Third Congressional District announcing that the citizens of the Third would have a choice in 2014.
He and wife Shelby stopped in Anderson County, TN at the Anderson County Courthouse. There he responded to the first of probably many attacks he will face from his opponent. Earlier in the day, Chip Saltsman of his opponents campaign apparently made some publicly demeaning remarks about Wamp and Wamp’s response was captured by a BrianHornback.Com correspondent that was part of the throngs of media folks present.
This race will be interesting. Wamp will cast a vision from the perspective of a young Entrepreneur while his opponent will likely rely of the old ways of torch and burn your opponent by the ways of Washington, DC.
It is time to move away and reject the politics of Washington and of Wamp’s opponent and instead make decisions based on vision, clarity of purpose and leading with a servants heart, which is exactly what Wamp will do.
