This afternoon, from 5-7 p.m. out at Litton’s in Fountain City Ted Hatfield kicked off his campaign for the Republican State Executive Committeeman seat for State Senate District 6. It is a volunteer position that requires travel to Nashville at least once a quarter, or four times a year.
A few notable elected officials that attended were Knox County Sheriff Jimmy J.J. Jones, Knox County Register of Deeds Sherry Whitt, Knox County Commissioner at Large and Candidate for Knox County Trustee Ed Shouse, County Commissioners David Wright and Robert Lawrence Smith, Hallsdale Powell Utility Board Member Bob Crye, Fellow State Republican Executive Committeeman and Committeewoman Bill & June Landrum.
Hatfield has strived to keep the district Republicans up to date over the past four years. A good turnout for Hatfield on a cold night with at least two other Republican functions competing for many peoples attention. BrianHornback.Com had a corespondent at the Hatfield event and another one at the Sevier County Republican gathering (which will be reported on later), I attended the Knox County Young Republican Club meeting (which will be reported on later)

Ed Shouse can make it to Ted’s and the Knox County YR meeting. But the GOP Chair can only make it to the YR meeting, just a few miles from her house. But a member of the Executive Committee that she works with, she blows off his event? Amazing. I see that she is so important that she is wearing an ear piece now. I wonder if she is getting instructions through that piece of technology?
Ted is a good guy in small doses.
I don’t know how Ted got a lady like that must be the voice yes must be heck what am I saying mmm Ted is HOT!! BB will soo agree!
