You must reach your audience with multiple sources. I would never tell you to not advertise with one media vehicle over another. When you advertise on the internet, you have the ability to know your reach. When you advertise with a paid subscription paper you have a general idea that people paying for a subscription will see your ad. With a throwaway newspaper, you really aren’t sure the reach.
On Friday March 28, 2014 about 5:00 p.m. I was at a local grocery store in the Hardin Valley community and saw a large amount of throw away papers that had been there since Monday. Previous editions were still there below the current issue. On Monday March 31, today the new edition hits the stand.
Just some thoughts to consider when making your advertising decisions. Include everybody.
