Knox County Circuit Court Judge Harold Wimberly officially launched his reelection campaign by revealing his new campaign website, here.
“We are very excited to get the campaign rolling so the voters of Knox County can learn and follow how Knoxville native, Harold Wimberly, has justly and honorably served the people of Knox County as Circuit Court Judge for over 27 years.” said J. Elaine Burke, Treasurer for the Judge Wimberly’s campaign.
Judge Wimberly, a Knoxville-West High School and University of Tennessee graduate, stood for election in the office of Circuit Court Judge in 1988 and has been re-elected by the people of Knox County three times since. During his tenure as a Circuit Court Judge, Wimberly has been known as a champion of children’s rights. During his term of service, he has overseen over 600 adoptions and has placed over 1,000 children into loving homes.
A reception for Judge Wimberly will be held from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 20, at The Bistro at the Bijou Theatre, located at 807 S. Gay Street. The Host List is listed below.
