This from the Citizen Tribune (Morristown aka Hamblen County, TN) in a recent Republican primary the two candidates from Hamblen County Commission District 4 were separated by one vote. The runner-up who received 157 votes appealed to the the State GOP. A 30 plus state primary board met via conference call and 27 members affirmed the winner that received 158 votes. So, when you think your vote won’t count, think again and look toward Hamblen County, TN.
Now, I will refrain from pointing out how ridiculous it is that a primary board of 30 plus people meet via conference call.
