The Fountain City/North Knox Republican Club met this evening at the Shoney’s on Broadway. More victorious Republicans came to thank the grass-root activists for their contribution in winning some races last Thursday.
Also attending were two candidates for Second District School Board to replace Indya Kincannon who resigned last week.
Mike Cohen, President of Cohen Communications was the Speaker. He talked about his many positions in government and his take on the recent elections. The fact that he is from Minnesota, by way of Nashville and when he turns 65 will retire to Florida due to being a Yankee and Jewish. He explained that he has family member that married a Cuban and they can’t decide if the children will be Cubish or Jewban?
